Five Minute Friday

I'm back this week, I've missed these! (: Come join us! Today's Topic: Beyond. GO. This life I've been chosen to live? Far, far beyond my wildest dreams. I never could have imagined that I would love my life so much so many different times. I never thought I would conduct a band and be more proud of them than I ever have of anyone else. I never thought I would keep up with dancing for 14 years... and be good at it. I never thought I would appreciate my family so much for standing by me and loving me in spite of me. I never thought God would show up in the many, many ways He has. I never thought I'd learn the lessons I've learned through the rough times. Five Minute Friday

I literally giggle when I realize that it is Friday. Finger painting time. Just write, just right. It's such a perfect day... Friday. It taste sweet in my mouth. Today's Topic: Beloved. Go. I crawl into the arms that have cradled all of humanity. I reach out and press my fingers against the nail-pierced hands. I look up into the face of love itself, personified. I am in awe. I feel the arms wrap tight around me, holding me together. Tears continue to stream and I know that the pain is still there, but I am comforted. I bury my face into perfection and let out all my sorrow. He accepts, gives time, continues to hold with rapt attention. He cries, too. He's been there, this pain is familiar to Him. Hello, dear one . Can I possibly have your ear for a moment? Or maybe even your hand? Or your arms around me as a hug? I desperately need someone today. Today has been difficult so far. I have gone to my well to drink, simply to find it empty. And I feel so hollow, so... just empty . Today is a tough one for me to get through, and I need you. Please come along side me.
